Meet Dr. Kohrs

Education and Experience

Dr. Keith J. Kohrs grew up in Hudson, Ohio, a small town southeast of Cleveland. After attending the University of Dayton for his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry, and receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Case Western Reserve University, Dr. Kohrs completed his orthodontic residency at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. He also enjoyed his appointment as an associate professor at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry.

In the Community

Dr. Kohrs and his team take an active role in the communities near both offices, sponsoring youth sports, school activities, and charitable organizations, as well as taking part in town festivals and other community events.

In addition to taking special care of you and your family, Dr. Kohrs has a special interest in treating children with cleft lip and palate as well as other craniofacial issues. He is a member of the Kaiser Permanente Craniofacial Team, which provides a full range of health services to children with craniofacial birth defects, including cleft lip and palate. He is also active in the Metropolitan Denver Dental Society’s Give Kids a Smile Program, and the Domestic Violence Dental Care Program.

Outside the Office

Dr. Kohrs and his wife, Sonia, moved to Colorado to take part in the region's year-round outdoor activities. They and their daughters, Amelia and Zoe, enjoy Jeeping, camping, hiking, biking, skiing, and snowshoeing, in addition to motor sports, woodworking, and simply spending time together as a family.
